i am having a bad bout of back-to-school blues!

it is only the second day but somehow already feel a little exhausted. hmm. was so looking forward to the start of term...but now feeling kinda stressed. sigh..dunno whether i chose the right mods and dealing with my own expectations etc. argh. better get over it quick.

Arts canteen is getting too darn crowded. it feels as suffocating as a clogged-up sink :( arrgh. oh man. people are standing around your table waiting for you to finish up. and the queues are sooo long and the weather is terribly hot. no appetite to eat.

as barrel said, the newbies look really refreshed. somehow you can see who the years 1s are...they got that 'fresh-from-orientation' air about them. so chatty...excitable...cheery.

i must be feeling and probably looking like very stale bread. sigh.

but it's not that i am not enjoying uni. my modules look great..so far. heh. but school became more 'academic' in a sense...no longer about hanging out with friends and people-watching etc. and no more trying out of subjects but sticking to your major choices. ahh...i miss that honeymoon year one.
