"it's a long, long journey
till i know where i'm supposed to be
it's a long, long journey
and i don't know if i can believe

when shadows fall and block my eyes
i am lost and know that i must hide...
it's a long long journey
till i find my way home to you

many days i've spent
drifting on through empty shores
wondering, what's my purpose
wondering how to make me strong

i know i will falter, i know i will cry
i know you'll be standing by my side
it's a long, long journey
and i need to be close to you

sometimes it feels no one understands
i don't even know why i do the things i do
when pride fills me up till i can't see my soul
will you...break down these walls
and bring me through

...

cos it's a long, long jouney
till i find my way home to you..."

2 papers down...3 more to go. south asia on mon, a science module on tues and japanese linguistics on sat.

sigh. somehow feel that things din turn out too well. philo mcqs were...erhh...very confusing. icm wasnt that straightforward either. maybe i have chosen to do the crappy question...that i have no one to blame. wail. sheesh. ahhhh.......whatever. now i am trying to understand DNA and other biological wierdos. it's interesting...but not when i have to face the exam in 5 days!

health screening. some of the medical students who did the screening were cute...muahaha :p having that 'professional ' air about them. grin.

witnessed some drama around my neighbourhood on tues :p my block was in a strategic position to catch almost everythg! heh.

a person who was suspected of having sars (eeeks!) and to be sent to TTSH from the clinic ran home. luckily he was staying in a block across the carpark. then came the ambulance and even the police...all geared up in their protective gear. on top of that and at the same time...at the opposite block, a python was discovered at the workers' quarters. exciting! it was huge. the snakie slithered down to the big canal..was later caught by a fishing net then brought up to be put in the sack . man it retaliated and everybody who was watching shrieked (but still stayed for the drama haha). into the sack it went. then out of nowhere came a wierd covertible-kinda fire engine (huh?) from among the blocks in the midst of a impending thunderstorm. the sky was damn dark! wow.

enjoyable! it was the heartlanders' heyday with many kaypoh people like me staring out of their little pigeon holes. hah...singaporean culture. cute.
