I am in the juggling commitee! heehee...in charge of publicity. erm not much an 'election' yesterday as there were no other contenders. muahaha. there were like only 8 people and in the end, everybody got something :) my first task is to fill up the empty notice board...yay.

my juggling's getting better...heehee. i improved from 2 balls to 3 and now trying keep it going round and round. really relieve alot of school stress and it's quite a workout :p the founder of the club came back yesterday and gave a short performance. he's really good with that 'diablo' thgy. all i could see was just the thing whirling in all directions...he's so fast! man i can't wait to learn that. and the unicycle...fun fun.

i m happy in juggling :D it's such a nice, small and cozy group of people. we are having a bbq at the end of the month...hope the turnout will be good. hmm. but i guess i will have fun anyway :)

p/s: sorry, joy :(

i used to study well in really quiet environments. never liked music in the background..cos i would be humming along and remembering what i have heard rather than what i read.

but things have changed quite abit. i would prefer having some form of distraction! it now seems like i work much much faster in the forum where the music is blasting, people talking and walking all around. the library is too dead quiet...man. i feel this sense of 'guilt' when i ask a friend something...or give out a little cough or flip my pages. every sound is amplified :/ uneasy in there.

used to and still wonder how people can study in fast food restaurants. well...that one i still cannot manage. hee...i will be eating and ordering food now and then..no time for my books. heh. i guess they have greater 'distraction-shut off' levels.

and i think i am gradually building mine up too.

back home..my mum controls the noise levels cos it will distract me. my brother and i used to joke that during school terms, i will be playing the role of 'someone who is studying' instead of sister/daughter in the family etc. yeah my mum is serious about my academic stuff but she's no longer that strict...esp now that i am in uni.

joy learnt in soci that we need some distractions to concentrate. quite a paradox...but definitely works well for multi-taskers. some brains just cannot be satisfied with one task at a time...haha.
