i am seriously thinking about going on the student exchange programme :) sounds really fun other than the admin stuff like the many forms and finding matching modules.

some friends will be going this coming sem...lucky gals! hoping to go either to the US or Canada during year 3 sem 1...so exciting. but still have to see whether there are places available and suitable modules. and sadly...also the cost of it all. have to prepare at least 8000 bucks. wah...that is really really expensive. i must really get some tuition etc. but tough luck now! heehee...now finding people who are interested in learning basic japanese at those tuition centres.

and i am also worried about my grades this year. arrgh....hopefully i can maintain my CAP. will work hard!!

just one sem will be more than enough. imagine all the new stuff...the weather...people...environment. was hoping it will be snowing...but that will make the trip even more expensive. oh well.

anyway this is too good an opportunity to miss! i can't wait.

wish me luck :D

"Just smile for me and let the day begin
You are the sunlight that lights my heart within
I'm sure that you're an angel in disguise
Come take my hand and together we will ride

On the wings of love up and above the clouds
The only way to fly is on the wings of love
On the wings of love only the two of us
Together flying high
Flying high upon the wings of love

You look at me and I begin to melt
Just like the snow when the ray of sun is felt
I'm crazy bout ya baby can't you see
I'd be so delighted if you could come with me..."

- Clay Aiken "On the Wings of Love"

all i can say is wow. wow. wow.

All my Clay clips are gooonnnneeee! wails :(

stupid virus. arrrghhhh.

but no fret...i am going to download every single clip i lost today.

yay! Clay makes my day!

tee hee hee :D

Little India was definitely memorable. man...i felt like i was really in India!! wow. we were like tourists poking around the place...heh.

all the streets and alleys looked the same. it's so easy to get lost there :p but luckily we managed to find our way around. had an authentic Indian lunch of butter-onion and cheese dosa. it tasted ok :) the restaurant manager even gave us a complimentary dish...it tasted rather funny and goo-y. erm...not used to the food lah. and saw the wall paintings of shop names etc. which was highlighted by Life quite some time ago...nice.

Mustafa!! finally got a chance to go to that famous shopping centre. it was HUGE and really long...with many departments. bought some stuff there...heh. the plastic bags are secured with this plastic thing..wah. extra effort which makes the queue rather slow. i must say the cashiers are designed in a very 'brainless' manner. there is no way the queue can go! but they can be found almost everywhere. there are sooooo many Indian products there...eye-opener!!

and there are so many pigeons around! flocks and flocks of them. like those pigeon squares overseas. lotsa poo-poo though :p

But it's wierd to see HDB flats just nearby. the feeling of Little India is kinda 'primitive' and down-to-earth but it just doesn't match to see high rise flats. ohyah...there are some really nice art galleries and theatre companies there...really cool. one of them was called something Kinetic Worms i think...very interesting artworks there. small space but great feeling :)

Singapore is not that boring...grin.

i wished i had the courage
to take the first step
when you were standing close.
but something's holding me back
so strongly

that once again,
i let you go...
without words or smiles to hold on to
till the day
if we ever meet again.

"To lead a better life,
I need my love to be here.

Here, making each day of the year
Changing my life with a wave of her hand
Nobody can deny that there's something there.

There, running my hands through her hair
Both of us thinking how good it can be
Someone is speaking but she doesn't know he's there.

I want her everywhere
and if she's beside me I know I need never care.
But to love her is to need her

Everywhere, knowing that love is to share
each one believing that love never dies
watching her eyes and hoping I'm always there."

- Beatles "Here, There and Everywhere"

sweet song.

yay...give me the beach anytime :)
