I am contended with what i got for this sem :) better than expected.

bbq yest was fun. prepared too much food as always...haha. can never estimate the appropriate amount! hmm..should more be better than less? anway, we had a black cat for company and he helped us to clear some chicken bits. the disposable bbq is highly recommended, easy to start and clear. no need for any contact with charcoal and firestarters. what an invention.

and what can i say. LOTR swept me off my feet again. fantastic. awesome. the struggles, conflicts, deaths, fears, love, fellowship are so real and natural. the type of "once-you-start-you-can't stop" movie. nah...i don't think it should be a called a 'movie'...that will be cheapening it. even viewing it as a masterpiece is an understatement. it's so much more than words can express. half of me still feel like i'm roaming Middle Earth with Aragon, Legolas, Gandalf and that darn pretty white horse.

somehow watching the making of LOTR spoils the experience of watching the trilogy as it is. would rather believe that there is a true Middle Earth, brave warriors set out on a quest to salvage what ever little goodness of the world that is left. don't want to know how it is filmed, how they trick the audiences with the fake digital effects etc.

Had a wierd dream the night before last. never thought it would be you. totally bizarre but sweet :)

elrond
Congratulations! You're Elrond!

Which Lord of the Rings character and personality problem are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

"his" pms! wahahaha. cute. and quite true..heh.

i m probably one of the rare few who has not watched LOTR2 yet but yay yay, my dad bought the VCD yest :D so tonight i will be at middle earth! amazing..i love the place where the elves live. but nevus dearie has bitten the wire of one speaker..arrgh. guess it will be a rather lopsided sound system. wails. well i should be glad she did not manage to attack the teevee wires like the last time. that rabbit ahh..tsktsk. but i just adore her naughtiness..hee :)

went jogging this morning and i fell down!!! hvt fallen down for ages :p tripped on the half-hanging sole of my faithful sportshoes and slided across the road. darn clumsy. was making my way to the CC to check out some stuff and ended up going there to clean up the bloody mess. oh well.

read an article in sunday plus about the best curry puff in town. how could they leave out my dear Old Chang Kee!! aiyoh...inadequate puff research :p

hmm...am thinking of changing my phone :) any recommendations? want to get a digicam phone..they are getting cheaper. eyeing Motorola E365..heehee.

Saddam is caught! oh man. ground-breaking news.

hmm...been catching up with the latest updates on CNA. somehow i feel a tinge of pity for him. he indeed looks 'broken' and very lost. What a great fall from his glorious past. it must feel immensely terrible that your country is celebrating your doom. can he be seen as a victim in any way?

WMDs are still not found in Iraq..could there be a possibility that there are none to start with in the first place? hmm. with countries rushing to volunteer sending their troops into Iraq only now, everybody seems to be trying to get a any bit of Iraq by establishing a military foothold in the oil-rich land.

politics is so intriguing and real..and that is such an understatement. i would have considered it as my major if my grasp of the english language had been more respectable. and studying elang doesn't really help either...more like a game of language play and puzzles. heh. if only i read the newspapers during jc..that would have made a helluva difference. but on second thought, maybe political studies here is much more controlled than it should be?

oh well. shall not think about the if onlys. just be thankful you are in uni, jolene :)

i am like going through a second childhood now. spent mine reading enid byton and going classes. did not really have time for teevee and cartoons...thus my unfamliarity with smurfs, carebears, what have you. yups had barbie dolls, paper dolls but no real dolls. eeks those are freaky. but i loved lego :) and i m bugging my mum to get me lego. well i can use them to build a two-storey house for my lazee hammie. ok dumb excuse :p

rotting at home today -slumps- bliss.
