i joined juggling club! :)

decided to go down for the welcome tea on tues to take a look. glad i went! the people were alright and i already got a few friends there. finally...a cca! heh. it's really fun and takes your mind off things. you just concentrate on keeping the balls going on and on and on :) erm..though i spent more than half the time picking up the balls i dropped. heehee. we will also get to learn the chinese top thgy..yay.

there was this professional who came to show us more tricks..really cool! he played with 'Devil Sticks' and 'Magic Boxes'. saw such performances at the Great Escape...difficult to do but very captivating :)

think this will help me relieve some school stress. it's really essentially a time to clown around..grin. and it is a rather new and small cca. much prefer that to a big cca group...cos you get to know the people better. tried juggling at home..haha. i am already looking forward to the next meeting!

will be going for Deejay group welcome tea on friday. guess i finally realized it is time to get a life ouside all those mugging for the past year.

well, it's never too late :)

The Great Escape is over. as usual...felt that everything ended too quickly. has been really tiring due to consecutive performing days but it was really really a great experience and worth all the time and work.

grew so much closer to the people. we signed on one another's sticks and it was all really sweet! took many many photos too. i took some of the styrofoam balls back...heehee. it was much more harder to drum as compared to the neon paint and we all had bruises on our hands...but no complains! :) was very touched that many people who were not involved this time came to support us -thanks alot- and gave us very encouraging reviews...grin. most of the ndp army officers in charge of us and many other friends came down too :)

no more ndp. no more saturday rehearsals. no more great escape. we were saying goodbyes to our beloved drums while clearing up yesterday.

weeps.

so looking forward to the next few outings in the planning...ECP picnic, Japanese Summer Festival and watching the Mars thgy at the Esplanade. and maybe more performing in the future...haha.

now it is really back to studies...which feels kinda distant now. sigh.

but then again, there is a time for everything.
